Phase 5 : Industry.

President of the supervisory board.

.

President of the supervisory board.

From 2005 until 2007 I have been chairing the supervisory board of PGE Holding, a former entity of Philips in Eindhoven.

PGE developed and applied electrochemical surface treatments, in particular electroplating, anodizing and etching on behalf of industrial customers.

In 2003 PGE took over the activities of Philips Galvanotechniek Eindhoven on the condition that these activities should eventually be moved before 2009, as the location where the activities were carried out had been sold to the Municipality of Eindhoven and was being redeveloped.

Together with the investor and the managing director, we intensively reviewed relocation options, possible sales of less profitable product lines, acquisition of small competitors and investment proposals for PGE’s bank.

In 2007 I resigned from this assignment because I decided to focus solely on Vialle’s growth.
